CJ7 wiring? The brake & turn wire for either side does both and it works thru the brake light switch & turn signal switch. if you follow the diagram from the rear lights you should see 1 wire common to both LH & RH sides, that would be the running (tail) lights. The other wires (1 from each side) I think goes to the turn switch.
